“…can dish out the comic punches with the best and then some”

“…a delight to watch”

“…plenty of moments of hilarity to please, and even some touching realizations.”

“…Audiences will be tickled”

“…So Portlanders best catch this show while they can, before Hallal becomes the world-wide golden glove champion: Friday and Saturday are the last two nights it’ll be seen at the CoHo Theatre! Get in there and mix it up while you can!”
-Faddah Wolf, portlandstagereviews.com

In this solo comedy show, Stacey Hallal delivers smart, sharp insights with such a winning charm that you never even feel the sting. Hallal moves effortlessly from stand up to songs to storytelling to sketch. Her presentation and perspective are fresh, but what makes her funniest is that she hits a common chord that resonates with the audience not only in the moment, but also well beyond the end of the show. Willamette Week called Irregardless “funny, well-conceived and, for a comedy show, unexpectedly poignant.” Trained at the famed Second City in Chicago, Hallal has performed, taught and directed comedy for over a decade and is the founder and Artistic Director of Curious Comedy Theater.
