On\u00a0January 26<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0Playwrights West\u00a0<\/a>premieres the\u00a0<\/span>Science On Stage Series: one-hour events featuring conversations with local scientists paired with excerpts from Playwrights West’s upcoming 2015 season production of\u00a0Dear Galileo<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span>Please join us as astronomer Rob Brown shares his most recent experiment on cosmic rays and black holes, followed by a vibrant discussion and audience Q&A with\u00a0<\/span>playwright\u00a0Claire Willett<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rob<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Brown<\/span>\u00a0works in the field of optics at a large aerospace company, designing head-up displays and playing with lasers and holograms. Astronomy has been one of his passions since he watched the first Moon landing. He has built his own telescopes, but none of them have shown him the face of God.<\/span><\/div>\n
