The first half of the evening features 8-minute multimedia stories by Anis Mojgani* (Multiple-time TEDx Speaker, poet, author), Katie Piatt (Grandma In Training, Accidental Storyteller, Seasoned Performance Artist), Kaj-anne Pepper AKA Pepper Pepper** (multidisciplinary artist who works and walks between and through the worlds of performance, video, drag, theatre and dance. They pronouns preferred), Chris Williams (Broke Gravy, The Turnout, Back Fence PDX), and B. Frayn Masters. The second half features Matt Sheehy’s ABERDEEN, a first-person musical storytelling performance inspired by his travels as a forester in the rural Pacific Northwest. The 75-minute story unfolds via spoken storytelling and song performance by Sheehy with live-action and animated projections by Stefan Nadelman. Hosted by Andrew Dickson (PICA/TBA, The Moth).
