PSA - Pelvic Service Announcement

Portland-raised NYC comedian Amy Veltman (Creator) has played in clubs all over New York City, in the Detroit Women in Comedy Festival and the Charm City Comedy Festival. She’s performed PSA: Pelvic Service Announcement at the Tucson, San Diego, and San Francisco Fringe Festivals, as well as festivals dedicated to solo theatre, Solofest (Best of Fest 2024) and United Solo (Best Musical Comedy). Amy’s also a storyteller; her Story Collider performance in NYC was selected as a Best of 2023 and she has repeatedly hosted A Special Event with the Moth at Barnard College, her alma mater. Amy has written, directed, and/or acted in several short films, including most recently BURYING BUBBY, in which she acted alongside Robert Smigel.

In addition, Amy spent nearly a decade as a corporate consultant and facilitator for the pioneering Portland, Oregon, company On Your Feet. She presented in venues from Lincoln Center to New York’s City Center, designing and facilitating corporate events and trainings for clients such as Procter & Gamble, Disney, Nike, NBC, and McKinsey all over the USA, Asia, and in Mexico (in Spanish). She’s hosted multiple panels and interviews in her capacity as a consultant and a volunteer, interviewing documentarian RJ Cutler, author Erica Jong, and the Chief Technology Officers of General Mills and McDonald’s.
