Art And Alzheimer’s
Oregon artist Dick Akers painted every day, even into the late stages of his battle with Alzheimer’s. Friends and family believe Dick’s passion to create art significantly contributed to the sunny disposition and self-sufficiency that he was able to demonstrate until the last 9 months of his life.
CoHo Productions, in cooperation with The Geezer Gallery, is proud to display the art of Dick Akers during the run of The Outgoing Tide.
THE GEEZER GALLERY is a unique non-profit art gallery devoted to the works of master-level, senior artists, 60 years or older.
